OUR PETTING ZOO, CORN MAZE & STORE WILL OPEN ON SATURDAY, SEPT. 12, 2020!
Our petting zoo is a great place to bring your family, grandchildren or your group or class!
In addition to our goats, miniature ponies, peacocks, chickens, turkeys, rabbits, ducks, homing pigeons, sheep and miniature donkeys, we have a story book hiking trail, a ride-on train, corn box with slide and diggers, rubber-duck races, family-friendly games, sound garden, a small playground and a picnic area under our pavilion. We also have a concession stand that's open on weekends (not during field trips.) Plus, there's Farmer Bryan's Play Place in the upstairs of the main barn! In 2020 we've added a real combine with slides, a sandbox and Bunnyville USA!
We advise that you wear sturdy shoes (not flip flops or sandals) so you can enjoy the walk around our farm.
Spend the day and don't leave hungry - pick up some delicious food at our concession stand, and grab some freshly made donuts!
Birthday Parties and Field Trips
If you'd like to schedule a birthday party for a weekend or a class field trip during the week (during our open seasons), use our reservation form below. Teachers - we have a special deal for field trips (Psst...teachers get in for free and everyone gets a discounted rate plus a free bag of goat feed. NOTE: Must have a group of at least 25 paying guests to reserve a field trip.) Most classes spend about hours at the zoo, including eating their lunch or a snack here. Please allow extra time to go through the maze as well--there's lots of fun to be had, and learning to be done there!
Birthday parties are usually held during our open hours on weekends. We simply reserve our birthday area for you, which is in a fenced-in area and includes several picnic tables and free-standing tables for your gifts and cake. We do not charge for the use of this area, we only charge admission for you and your guests. Please use the form below to check on the availability of the area for date and time for your party.
First and foremost, we want everyone to be safe and healthy. If you don't feel well or don't feel comfortable around other people - don't visit! Practice social distancing while in the zoo and wear a mask if you like. We will have extra hand sanitizing stations throughout the zoo, but bring your own hand sanitizer and wipes as well. We will also have extra staff on hand to clean everything as often as we can.
This year's maze design is the WTC Chicken! We have a hay ride that will take you to the maze, as well as around it out to the pumpkin patch for a longer ride! There you can pick your own pumpkin from the field and bring it back to celebrate fall properly!
Donkeys, goats, chickens, ponies, ducks, peacocks, sheep, homing pigeons, rabbits, a goose and turkeys - our animals are friendly and ready to say hello to you! Our animals are in pens so that they can enjoy their day and you can enjoy yours. Of course they like to be petted and fed, but if you're not the type to want to get up close and personal with a goat, you don't have to be. Goat feed is available for sale by the bag or in the vending machines.
Our zoo features a beautiful hiking trail that has a story for your enjoyment along the way. This year's story features "Spookley - The Square Pumpkin" a nationally recognized story to help prevent bullying! Read each page as you wind your way down the trail and go see the old homestead and root cellar at the bottom of the hill! The trail has steep hills and rough terrain. Wear sturdy shoes!
Our playhouse, the corn box, tetherball, hillbilly golf, corn hole games, and more -- if you can't find something to do here, you're not looking!
We've planted an entire field of sunflowers for your photo taking, cutting and just sight-seeing enjoyment! Watch our Facebook page for the announcements of the Sunflowerfest Days and the best times to come see them!
Farmer Bryan's Play Place is in the top of the barn. Blocks, Connect Four, a farm set and a sand table are all there to let your imagination run wild!
This year we're growing our own pumpkins! A first for us, you're going to be able to ride the hayride past the corn maze to get your pumpkin fresh from the field!
We’ve built our zoo with kids in mind. Bright colors and fun are everywhere throughout our zoo. This is one of our newest additions - the sound garden! Kids can play and find harmony with nature all around them.
While you're here enjoying fall - bring some beautiful mums home with you! Grown locally at Trinklein Bros., these healthy, beautiful plants are sure to brighten your doorstep and yard!
